Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Fellow Business Owners,

With the sad demise of so many young people taking their own lives blistering the headlines of the news media everyday because of the ever-growing pandemic of bullying, we realize it’s time to take a stand and reach out to our community and beyond. Founders Tommy Rodriguez of All Inklusive Tattoo, April Riddick, Program Director at Hot101.net and Dean Smith, of DSSmithCreative.com have set in motion a plan that was conceived months ago. We believe we cannot wait any longer.

Our foundation is in the process securing a 501(c)3 status for The Bully This! Foundation. Although our founders have generously given back to the community through many events for lower income children and their families in the local community, we are now upping the ante. However, we cannot do it alone and we do need the support of our friends and neighbors.

We are looking for people who truly care about this cause rather than just giving lip service. Children are committing suicide partly because of not having the resources and education about the effects of bullying on themselves and others, and how to get help. Each year, there are approximately 10 youth suicides for every 100,000 youth, each day, there are approximately 11.5 youth suicides, every 2 hours and 5 minutes, a person under the age of 18 successfully completes suicide, parents are losing their children because our communities are not doing enough, NO PARENT SHOULD HAVE TO BURY THEIR CHILD BECAUSE OF BULLYING!

On September 14th, The Bully This! Foundation is hosting our Community Bully Awareness Day at Bucky Boyle Park in Allentown. Our focus is on bringing education and problem solving skills to the community, but especially to our local youth. Food, music, demonstrations and lots of fun events that incorporate education in bully awareness ad remediation is our aspiration. Everyone is welcome.

Here’s where you can help and we cannot make this all-important event the success we know it can be without your help. We are graciously asking for donations from everyone in the community that can and will back this worthy and necessary cause. We need donations in the form of hamburgers, hot dogs, rolls, single serving snacks (chips, pretzels, etc.), canned soda, bottled water, juice packs, paper plates, napkins, etc. Please call us to see how you can help at 484.860.3286.

If you would like to donate monetarily, for a donation of $25 or more we will promote your business on LUTV (Latin Unlimited Television) Sabrosa Video on Service Electric Television for one month (we will need a digital file of your logo and a brief explanation of your company). You will also be promoted on Hot101.net and Baby J Productions for one month. You may also have a presence at the event in table/canopy style to promote your cause or business. In addition, for a donation of $50 or more you may sell your products and wares at the event.

Support The Bully This! Foundation by bringing your ideas on what might help raise awareness, contributing to a worthy cause, and showing our youth that you care and truly want to make a difference in their lives.
